Great Phil, keep going. I appreciate your dedication. If you keep your promise I would like to test your Predictive Search mod.
Your free stuff should be moved out from Third Party Add-Ons Forum section, for more visibility. |

Re: X-Cart RSS Feed Generators v4.4.x - v4.5.x
Thank you for this wonderful rss feed generator module. It's Exactly what i need. I downloaded the mod and extracted the files.
I"m a little confused about the structure of the folders. 1) Should I upload the whole folder just the way it is? 2) In your download, "module" folder is a sub-folder of skin folder. But in X-cart Skin & Module folders are their own parent folders, not sub-folders of the other. 3) Please explain in what order or how I should upload the files. |
Re: X-Cart RSS Feed Generators v4.4.x - v4.5.x
Sorry, I had somehow missed out the 'common_files' folder.
Re-download the file package. Then just upload the entire contents of /upload to your store root folder. IE. where auth.php config.php home.php etc. reside. |

Thanks for your Quick Response. I Re-downloaded the package and installed it per your instructions. * When I click the links "Latest News" or "Latest Products" I get the error message: XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: https://www.mydomain.com/rss_news.xml Line Number 1, Column 1: and XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: https://www.mydomain.com/rss_products.xml Line Number 1, Column 1: * Do you the know reason and solution to this? Thanks in advance for your assistance. |

** Nevermind. I found the solution. I needed to click "Generate" for each of them in the admin section of "RSS Feed Settings". |
