Cannot enable clean URL after setting up apache and troubleshooting
 

Hi there,

I cannot enable clean URL in SEO settings. I have already followed the steps and guides in https://kb.x-cart.com/seo_and_promotion/setting_up_seo-friendly_urls.html.

According to the guide, I have made the "LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so" instead of "#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so" in the httpd.conf file. But it doesn't work.

Then I followed the two-steps in the troubleshooting, after restart apache, it doesn't work. So could you give me some suggestions?

Another question, the guide told me to "make sure the following line in your .htaccessf ile reflects an actual path to your store." I find some .htaccess files in Apache, could I know which .htaccess did you pointed to? Thanks!

Try setting 'AllowOverride' to 'All' in your httpd.conf.
