Create checkbox property on product page
 

I followed the tutorial on creating a new property: http://kb.x-cart.com/display/XDD/Adding+new+property+to+a+product

I would like to do this, but as a checkbox. When I've tried, I can create the field in the Admin area but I cannot pull the data onto the product page. How do I do this? Is it more complicated than doing a simple text input field?

It appears the data is not saving when I check the checkbox.



I successfully followed the guide on creating custom Product properties, which resulted in a string field. This works perfect. I had assumed creating a checkbox field would be the same method, but I'm not having success. The checkbox appears in the Product admin page, but I cannot pull the data to the customer Product page, nor will the checkbox remain checked after refreshing the page.

I've decorated the XLite/Model and XLite/View/Model pages just like the guide; is there anything else I'm supposed to be doing?
