sorry sir, i am still confused.
i am not getting exactly way to set permission. please give me the that exact way, i 'll so thankful to u. regards, nimz |
The way i do it, is that i connect to the site via FTP and set the templates that i want to make editable to chmod 666.
your ftp client should have this cabability to change file permissions... For example: in Filezilla (that i use) if you right click on one of the templates (.tpl) and select 'File Permissions' you set the permissions there .. hope this helps .. regards Shafiq :sK |
All of your .tpl files need to be chmodded to 666. You may need to chmod the skin1 directory, and all subdirectories, as 777 as well to be able to create new tpl files through the admin interface.
And yes, Shafiq, FileZilla is awesome :D |
