Making XCart Display Store Closed page And Formatting in item descriptions
 

Hi,

I'm working on setting the cart up, but would like to make my sit live in the meantime. I know there's a closed feature, could someone please explain where to go in the dashboard to display a closed store page?

Also one other issue I'm having, Does the free version not allow you to format product descriptions? Every time I make a change to a product description (heading tag, line breaks, etc) when I click update it removes all spacing. I think it was working before I imported data from a cart I had a while ago.

Any Ideas?

There is a green button at the top of the admin pages - see screen shot attached.

All X-Cart editions (including Free edition) allows to format product descriptions. It is working properly in my test X-Cart store (please see screen shot attached).

However, if it still not working in your particular X-Cart installation, please post a support ticket in your personal Helpdesk area, our support team will help you to sort the issue out.
