Successful X-Payments Install
 

Does anyone have a successful x-payments install up and running? I would like feedback on the issues associated with the install and the overall flow of the solution.

We've installed hundreds of X-Payments copies for our customers (both new and existing). Everything is fine there since we know how to do the job. Also, I know Steve aka CFL Systems installed a dozen of copies, too. Perhaps he can step in here and comment.

Yes I have about a dozen installations of X-Payments. There were issues with first versions of X-Payments but I had no issues installing last 2 versions. Keep in mind also they were installed on XC approved hosts - they know how to setup hosting to accomodate XC and X-Payments. Other hosts like GoDaddy have no idea or just don't want to play along.

I am trying to make a decision on what to do with X-Cart. X-Payments is $1200. I could possibly go with Braintree and their hosted iFrame application which should satisfy PA-DSS I believe. I could go down the path of X-Payments or I could switch all together. I am trying to put together an evaluation matrix to figure out the relative costs/benefits of all scenarios. It sounds like installs by professional x-cart businesses are fine but individuals are struggling. That makes x-payments not $1200 but maybe $2000.
