Where do NEWS entries show ?

Hi ! I have created a "NEWS" entry but do not know how/where/what needs to be done to have these news post show on a page. Help please !!! Note : I am referring to news messages created under CONTENT/NEWS MESSAGE

The News block should appear at the bottom of the left sidebar.

Also, there is a single page displaying recent news:
[your_domain]/?target=news_messages
