What is the best "search function" mod ?
 

Everyone agrees the built in xcart search feature is useless...

There are a number of mods out there which improve the search function, such as:

- X-Cart AJAX Dynamic Product Search v4.x
- Smart Search for X-Cart by WebsiteCM Software Inc.

i'm sure there are a number of others as well.

Can someone please tell me what is the best one, both in terms of efficiency & value for money ????

Also i am still using ver 4.1.9, has the built in search function in xcart 2nd generation improved or is a mod still advised?

I'm getting a broken link "product disabled" on WebsiteCM for Smart Search. I see a "Smart Search" alteredCart.com, is this the same?
