Marketing Manger email problem
I'm trying to use Marketing Manager for the first time after moving to a new host but none of my test emails are making it through. I haven't the first idea of where to check to see where they are going.
Would moving hosts have anything to do with its functionality or is my problem somewhere else? Thanks Shaun |

Moving to Third Party Add-Ons. Have you opened a ticket with Firetank Software?

Re: Marketing Manger email problem
I received this from Firetank:
- You're using linux, but don't have mm_mail.pl chmod to 755 But how do I check/change? Thanks Shaun |
Re: Marketing Manger email problem
Via FTP or Cpanel

Re: Marketing Manger email problem
But how? Haven't got a clue what that means...

Re: Marketing Manger email problem
How did you upload your files to the server originally? You used FTP right?
|
Re: Marketing Manger email problem
Yes but I don't know what chmod to 755 means...
|
Re: Marketing Manger email problem
That means change the permissions to 755 on that file. If you right click on it in most FTP software, it will give you the option to change permissions.

If you use FileZilla (free ftp client) you can right click no any file, folder click File Attributes and it will bring up a box like shown in the attached image. |

Yet again you've saved my bacon!
Thank you, I figured it out and it works! |
