Im getting

Error

and its stuck at this point
anyone else having issue with the latest update

Now Im getting the X-Cart 5 is not installed and it is

the cloned site will come up so I can get admin and orders but none of the links from the shop front will work all say its not installed
what the hell is it with this software that every single upgrade causes nothing but grief

got it back from local xampp build thank god for backup

bit worried now about giving it another go

well got it back but now problems increasing .
adding a product due to lost some from the failed upgrade the new product is in the category but you cant actually get into it to view other than in the pop up window

any ideas as this is now getting to be causing nothing but problems

Im trying to go live after months of build /rebuilds due to this package problems I cant start again as now people buying

Had you disabled any modules when upgraded the store? In 5.1.2 there was a bug that might cause a similar issue when disabling some mods.

I let the backup process do as it asked.

I did not specifically disable anything that was not already disabled

I'm working on keeping it up at present.

Im now incurring a lot of problems as in

creating new items seems ok but you cant go into them from the cart front end

Clone items seems to get around this but cant change prices.. new price is ok in admin view and the tables via phpMyAdmin but the store shows the pre cloned price.

I am back at 5.1.2 to keep me up and running but finding it hard to get things to work clean

Why since recovering can I not change prices to items in the store.....

they change in admin. I go into phpMyAdmin and they are changed there but the front of store shows old price - done rebuild cache no change

created clone backup and still no change

any ideas

it will sound strange,

1) but search your x-cart 5 directory for any fieles with tpl0000644, php0000644, png0000644.

x-cart use 7-zip to compress, if you uncompressed on SOME files it end up with those extensions.

2) if you disable some default module upgrade may fail


3) if you upgrade from 5 you better just reinstall clean 5.1.3.

If above not help let me know i have more to share...
