Is there anyone got login with paypal working for xcart 5
 

Hi there,

Is there anyone got login with paypal button working for xcart 5. I have search website can't find solution.

here is log I found in paypal:
error_description' => 'Client Validation Error: Invalid scope.',
'error' => 'invalid_scope',

I have create app in develop.paypal. everything looks fine.except it won't support https?

Yes, I did find this thread through google and did try every thing.
NO luck.

(I try create a new app, go to advanced option try different setting)

thanks for reply anyway. I have disable login in with paypal for now. my paypal payment do working though

Hello Tony,

This problem will be fixed in 5.2.5, which will come out next week.
You will need to set up Paypal Login on Paypal side though. Here is the snapshot with right settings:

Currently there is an issue with the Core: 5.2.5 and Paypal Module: 5.2.4.

If the site is only on HTTPS then the redirect URL needs to be updated on HTTPS but the module doesn't update. So because of that Paypal throws error on their end.

We have updated to Core: 5.2.5 and PayPal: 5.2.4. We are still having issues with module.

Currently our site is only on HTTPS and the redirect URL on the Paypal Module settings page doesn't accept HTTPS it only takes HTTP.

Because of which Paypal return's Redirect URL doesn't match error. Created a bug request for the same. Hoping you could shed more details on the same as well.

Try to empty "Client Id" and "Client Secret" fields in the module settings.
Does this help?
