config.php blew up! HELP!!!!

I just blew up the main config.php. I get the following error.

INVALID SQL: 1115 : Unknown character set: ''
SQL QUERY FAILURE:SET NAMES '' COLLATE ''

Please help with your suggestions please.

Why not post the exact problem/solution now that you have figured it out? That helps the forums be a useful source of information for all. Otherwise, it is a a waste of server space. :-)
