xcart editor adding line spaces
 

Hello everyone,
Brand new to xcart and am having a great time learning everything and changing things! The problem I am having is when I use the xcart editor to change a template, after I save it, a new line is created between each line of code. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to stop this from happening?

running Running 3.2.1 on win xp with apache 1.3, php 4.2.3

I have found a great amount of help from this board and thanks to all of you.

I presume you are running this as a local test server. It is caused by extra line breaks put in when saving the files in the admin centre.

Only way round it from what I can see is use an external editor and then upload the changed templates.

I use Ultraedit for this http://www.ultraedit.com

Pretty cool software in that it even saves a backup version for you.
