Adding extra spaces when saving templates
 

Bit confused :?: :?:

Every time I go into to amend a template and then save it on a local test version of x-cart it adds and extra 3 blank lines to the templates between each command or html tag.

Not that this is a major problem, it just makes the code very long.

Running 3.2.1 on win xp with apache 1.3, php 4.2.3

Any ideas?

Depending on the type of editor you are using, try saving in ASCII txt, this problem is due to the way the unix CR/LF is interpreted by win text editors, or vice versa.

Just using the admin centre, rather than UltraEdit or the like.
