Hi Paul,

Totally agree with you on this. But, TBH, the silence gives the answer; they will not be releasing 4.7.13. I will be very happy if they prove me wrong!

Again being honest, I think there is only about 10 of us that visit this forum on a daily basis. How much longer will it be available for us?

There is only @PhilJ actively supporting 4.7.?? with all his great add-on's.

Sadly 4.7.?? has had it's day and is now sunset.

Best wishes

ITVV

I just got a response from X-cart support to my PM and question about PHP 8.0 support that follows:

***

I'd like to inform you that I've contacted our specialists regarding your question. I was told that there's no exact date, but the team is going to release 4.7.13 with the support for PHP 8 this year.

Hi @peggyr

It sounds a bit like "the cheques in the post" TBH 8O

I will be very happy to be proven wrong on this but I won't hold my breath

Kind regards

We still support 4.7.x (as well as prior versions) as we just have a ton of knowledge in those systems. We still prefer X-cart 4 over 5. X-cart 5 can be so temper-mental still. We work with both but 4 behaves better...

Thank you for sharing, we're very happy to hear PHP8 will be supported in 4.7.13 as we'd like to update the software on our server to include PHP8.
Let's hope it won't take too long.
