Themes issue
 

Hi,

1.I need to change as CrispWhiteSkin theme for xcart 5.

2.it's working on if layout change template means working fine.

3.i want to change static in coding wise only,module name is CrispWhiteSkin.

i am working on getCurrentSkinModule()function. in this function some issue occur.

Error: Call to a member function callModuleMethod() on string[/b]


if you anybody knows ideas and share coding please help me.

Hi,

We have 4 themes in our website at customer end in drop down. When the customer chooses "theme 1", theme 1 should be assigned and loaded. When the customer chooses theme 2, theme 2 should be assigned and loaded.

Pls guide us which file need to be changed and what's the procedure? Can we just assign the theme based on the selection made by the customer? In that case, what happens to cache?

X-Cart 5 cannot work this way. If you change the theme, you have to run the store redeploy procedure.
If you need the theme to change with a single click, you are to deploy multiple X-Cart 5 installations and switch between them (like we do on our demo site).
