Is this for before v 4.0.x?

As I never thought of this being a problem in 4.0.x it already does this in the cart...
Or am I missing something? :?

No there isn't a version of X-cart that does this.

Jon, nice mod. Most users generally just create a "Continue Shopping" link in the carts page 1, but this is definitely clearer.

It might be useful for folks who lose higher sales at that stage ... but, how could that be tested? Perhaps when users buy your mod and see if the order averages are higher over time. Could be worth it, but I suggest integrating it into page one of the cart. That way you don't add the additional step for folks who just want to checkout. As they say:

There is definitely a need for a higher-tech "Continue Shopping" link which is basically what you have created.

In which case I am totally lost then, we must have added the Continue Shopping link when we first made our site, but I dont recall doing it.

Ok, never mind, ignore me. ;)
I am very suprised something like this is not in the original code.

I have to say I dont like the thought of another click in the checkout phase, but good job on making it for those that need it.

Looks good and it's on my list for purchase coz im such a mod junkie (i've got mods that I havent even used yet).

Now if just anyone could create a decent registration procedure like the one at ebuyer.co.uk https://www.ebuyer.com/customer/home/index.html?rb=4953483317&action=bG9naW4= i'd be laughing HINT! HINT!

P.S. talking of ebuyer , if you want value for money give them a try, i've ordered twice from them and both times they either sent the wrong item (but a item that was 5 x the value of what I ordered) or they have sent two of the same item but only got charged for one :D

For websites that have very few products and the people are going to come for 1 product and want to get out, this isn't a good mod because it does add a step between the cart.

For larger sites with more products that want to sell one person on several items if at all possible, it is very effective. I've noticed that sites like amazon.com do it.
