TinyMCE stipping ID tag from div on front page editor
 

I have 5.2.2 installed and it does not strip the id from the <div> tag.

I have 5.2.4 installed and it strips my <div id="slider">. It strips the id out of the div tag.

Any reason why it works in one and not the other?

It's also stripping any <script> tags and <iframe> tags as well. Didn't use to.

EDIT: Sounds like it's the HTML Purifier removing the script tags. I'm guessing this is also removing the ID from divs as well. I'm getting that too.

X-Cart Guru was able to fix this for us. It's due to the stricter HTML Purifier in 5.2.4.

You could contact him for the fix. Our site is working again now.
