I'm excited to see the 4.0 version. Let us know when it's available. Thanks!

Are you guys ever going to make anything for Lite Commerce?

elitedimension 09-11-2004 11:50 AM

Any news on the v4.0 versions?

elitedimension 09-29-2004 05:40 PM

Any news on this? I'm anxiously awaiting the 4.0 version. I have no use for the 3.5 version I got with my license :(

Thanks.

I'm with ya

Anyone heard from Firetank lately? I've seen no responses here or to my emails. Would be nice to at least get a response when I spent $235 on software I can't even use. All I have seen is "It'll be 2 weeks" in some older emails, but 2 weeks never comes.

I beleive Angelo is away for awhile. Kurt is currently handling all matters which might explain the delays in responses. They will contact you, you just caught a bad time.

Ok. Thanks for the info.

I think a lot of the waiting for MM 3.0 has to do with how successful Firetank is and what a work in progress X-cart version 4.0 has been.

I imagine that not very many users are live yet and still developing their 4.0 stores as updates are released fairly regularly.

Remember that MM has been really solid software with very few bugs and trying to match that with an X-Cart version that still has many flaws is probably a nightmare.

For any of you who have used MM in the past, you know it is worth the wait. I feel pretty confident saying that Firetank will release it as soon as they can, and it will live up to expectations.

If Angelo or Kurt read this, I know a lot of new modules are on the way. Since they have traditionally been available as add-ons, a pre-release with a scaled down feature list may be the answer. I imagine that would help cashflow and allow for more upselling possibilities. Just a thought.

elitedimension 10-05-2004 06:15 PM

I can totally understand the 4.0 bug issue and needing to wait until things calm down. For me however, I have no choice but to use 4.0 due to various necessary features. With emails from Firetank indicating that its only 2 weeks away, I decided to support them even though I couldn't use their software at the moment. However, I perfectly understand about timelines slipping as a developer.

So if you're seeing this Firetank, just know that I and others are eager to use your software with 4.0 even if it is scaled down at the moment. Surely your code can't be as buggy as XCart 4.0 and I'm willing to work around that! ;)

LMAO

3.0 seems pretty solid, it seems like it just needs some final testing and packaging.

I'm assuming you meant to type 4.0? Anyway, I really don't have much against 4.0. A few bugs here and there, but nothing I can't resolve with a little code tweaking (like order listing). As long as XCart keeps releasing regular updates, I'm happy, because most major issues should be resolved in a couple months time.

I just had to make a joke since so many other people around here dislike the current state of 4.0. I do agree that a minimal amount of regression testing could have prevented obvious bugs....ala order listing.

Jon 10-05-2004 07:54 PM

I meant MM3.0

I'll probably be install x-cart 4.0 in a year or so.

adpboss 10-29-2004 04:41 PM

OMFG!

THE NEW MM PWNS (owns)!!!!

GEEZ. I was already addicted to traffic monitor and the now the new "follow user" feature is sick (in a good way). Forget Reality TV. You could actually track and assist a customer page to page in your store by seeing exactly what they are seeing.

FIRETANK HAS DONE IT AGAIN!

Worth every penny for the upgrade from 2.0 and I am sure I am only starting to scratch the surface on this software.

GJ Groovico and KP. Stunning.

groovico 10-30-2004 04:08 AM

Why thank you kind words indeed, glad you like mm 3.0 :D

Wait till you see what else we have in the pipeline

For any new users who haven't had a chance to see Marketing Manager Pro for x-cart please log into our site and view the interactive demo in the left hand menu.

Remember all of our add ons are also stand alone, you can purchase just the traffic monitor, or newsletter add ons etc, however if you purchase Marketing Manager Pro you get all of our add ons in one package.

Is that why the MMPro News is still dated Jan 01 when you login??? :) :D

Can't recommend Marketing Manager Pro Bundle highly enough, it's a fine, fine mod and one which is on my list of must have mods - newbies pay attention, it's impossible to get your head around all that works straight away so why not take advantage of the expense I've been through by purchasing all the mods in existence on your behalf and see which ones will actually generate an instant return on investment...

Best of luck with your X-Carts!
