Template: Linen x-cart 5 how to edtit this part?
 

Hello,

I installed the Linen template yesterday, but for some reason i see no options to edit the part below:

"The theme also provides information blocks with animated illustrations for the home page. Feel free to announce the sale running in the store or new collection arrived."

I can replace images with FTP but then they will have the same names as the original demo photos (bad for seo)

Also how can i edit the text next to those images and that banner sale text?

You will have to either use FTP to modify the files or the built-in storefront editor. Or if you want to have admin control you will have to build a module to allow you to change these from admin.

These are hardcoded in twig files. All XC Template Monster themes home page features are hardcoded in the template files and there is no control over these at all.
It is a bad way of putting the theme together but that's how it is done.

Hi Steve,

thank you for your reply. I just had a chat with Max and he found that there is a problem for sure.

Also the template is not from Monster. I had bad encounters with monster in the past and i will only use qualiteam. This template LINEN is listed as Author:Qualiteam.

The template editor in x-cart does not work on the these section and te replace the images i know i can use FTP, but then you need to use the same image names and as i said for SEO reasons thats not a good idea.

So after the chat i know now that i found and real issue that will be addressed soon.

Anyway, i love your CDN and Site Structured Data mod. CDN it works great now for us. Structured data we will see when we go live.

Yes the template is by QT but for Template Monster. QT supports it too.
I used few of these themes for different stores and all of them had all these front page features hardcoded.
The template editor should work for these sections. It will show you the twig file and the php class file as well as you can modify the twig file directly - which in return is saved within the Theme module not the template module...

Good to hear QT stepped in and will address issues for you
