Security patch was easily applied to both v4.6.3 and v4.4.5 stores we maintain. Thank you X-cart for a quick and easy patch!

I don't see the patch for 4.3.1 in the file area. Will the patch located in the 4.3.2 folder work for my version?

I tried the patch for version 4.4.5. The first failure was that I have no provider/register.php file. I removed that diff section. The 2nd failure was that the include/lib/smarty/Smarty_Compiler.class.php patch failed. The 3rd failure was that the include/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php patch failed. Still looking into it.

That is very fast since 4.7.1, but it is very nice to see X-Cart respond this fast after all the trouble with Magento and WordPress lately.

Did the language variable system change?
A new table is added in the database upon updating, and some of my (non-English) language variable have been deleted.

Another bug:
- I have selected to include the upgrade for X-HotProducts module
- A patch for new_arrivals.php is included in the upgrade pack (4.6.6 > 4.7.2) (the new_arrivals.php.diff is in the tgz)
- the file.lst is incomplete, a line is missing for new_arrivals.php

There might be more missing, but this was the first that I noticed. Seems like a buggy update so I'm going to postpone updating.

EDIT
It seems this is included in the addons.lst file. However, these patches are not applied.

Hey Guys, I need help! After installing the patch I get a blank white screen on my shopping cart and admin backend. I'm running X-Cart 4.5.4. I could only find the upgrade patch for 4.5.5 security-patch-2015-04-28_4.5.5.zip in the files area so I've FTP'ed the files across from the xcart folder inside security-patch-2015-04-28_4.5.5.zip to my shopping cart folder and run the patch.sql file. Now xcart displays a blank white page both on the main shopping cart and also the admin panel.

Please help!

We always manually patch. I'd recommend doing that way so that customizations aren't affected as much.

I'd recommend putting your backup files up (hopefully you have them). The patch.sql doesn't really affect your site, it just inserts into the db that it's been patched.

Then I'd manually patch the files, instead of just uploading them. We can provide patching services if you need it. Just drop us an email.

Something regarding the language variables is not updating correctly, when using a different language than English in the backend. See screenshot. This affects the Abandoned Cart Reminder & Product Notifications mods, perhaps more, but at least those. Their language variables are suddenly not available anymore in non-English languages in the backend.

When copying the content of addonst.lst to file.lst, those files are patched correctly, which means that least I can continue with the upgrade, but until this problem with the language variables is fixed, I'm going to hold off on further testing the update.

Why are there no 4.5.0 thru 4.5.4 patches? It seems using the 4.5.5 is not going going to work without major adjustments. Why is this so?

There are patches for 4.4.x and 4.6.x minor point versions.
