No. froogle.php is only for Froogle/Google Base. The rest of the mod doesn't depend on this at all. Cheers, Jason |

Re: XC SEO v1.1.0 Released
you really don't need this mod. Just use the generate-html catalog in the root of your site.

Re: XC SEO v1.1.0 Released
I've submitted an issue on the project site about the Froogle feed product URL problem.
http://code.google.com/p/x-cart-seo/issues/detail?id=5&can=2&q= I'm too much of a php noob to figure it out myself. Jason |
Re: XC SEO v1.1.0 Released
Do you have any HTML tags embedded in your product description? The froogle export for us is broken because of it not properly wiping out html and new lines.

Re: XC SEO v1.1.0 Released
I have some formating tags (paras, bolds, bulleted lists), but they seem to be stripped fine. The feed gets accepted by Google Base OK. It's just that the product URL is only to my site root. The mod worked fine for me with X-Cart 4.1.3, but something must have changed for 4.1.6. I haven't been able to track it down thus far.

Re: XC SEO v1.1.0 Released
Hi
I have a multi language webshop and want to use the XC-SEO. However, I found a problem and I can't solve it myself. XC-SEO renames all php links to html but how are languages seperated? Meaning that in all languages the HTML has the same url so Google indexes only one language. I want to solve this by adding the the language code to the html link so one product has 5 different html links (for every language one html page). Suppose that langauage is dutch, I want to add "_NL" in front of ".html" Anyone has an idea? Kind regards Martijn |
