Our Inspector service tests for items that give hackers clues or even outright access to your x-cart information. Our scan then lets you go through the results and advises on ways to minimise anything it finds.

Note: We scan for areas on your x-cart set up that you have missed out, mistakes you may have made, developer mistakes and other areas that you or your developer are responsible for.

Opps.. just bought a scan for my site.. and than realised it is not compatible with X-Cart 4.0.8 :(

Any plans in pipeline for security scan for 4.X.X so that i can still make use of the product at a later date?

You should of done opposite!
the way to go is FREE secirity scan and PAID services to fix it.
I want actually someone to scan my X-Cart installation and then get the security issues FIXED.

A free scan is open to abuse unfortunately and a very big potential security risk as our scan service scans for a substantial amount of issues.

We do occasionally offer the scan for free as part of deals and purchases of other mods and add ons so keep a look out for them. The payment is part of the validation that the scan is for legitimate use. For example we do not allow you to scan other peoples sites, manual checks are made as well as confirmation checks. CC details being one of them.

The scan is used on a regular basis by many people after development, upgrade etc work is carried out, it's not a one off thing, you can scan your site as often as you want during your subscription period and instructions for fixing the issues are given in the scan reports.

There are still thousands of x-cart installs out there that have some silly mistakes done on them.

The software you have produced is a must have and excellet. I do have to say, when the scan is run, i would have liked some professional help with security hole that the software finds, and would have liked an option to purchase where a professional can secure the site also at a reasonable price.

Security scan software of yours is a must have starting point.
