Event Task - How to
 

Hey folks,
I am looking into a way to log any activity ([de]activate, inventory change via catalog form, etc) on a product.
Browsing this forum and the source code I stumbled upon 'Event tasks', but unfortunately did not find any documentation or how to add one to my custom module.

Can someone point me to it, pls?
