X-Cart online manual and OpenSearch
 

Dear X-Cart/LiteCommerce fellowship,

I would like to announce a small tweak we have recently implemented for X-Cart online manual. Now you can easily configure your FireFox (>2.0) and IE (7) browser (see instructions further below) and have its quick search field function as the X-Cart manual search form.

FireFox v3 users:
- open the online manual (http://www.x-cart.com/xcart_manual/online/)
- click on the search engine logo next to the quick search form in your browser (make sure it is the FireFox search form, not the Google Toolbar one) and in the pop-up menu select "Add X-Cart Manual Search" item
- click on the search engine logo once again and switch your browser to the X-Cart Manual search script by selecting it in the pop-up menu

FireFox v2 and IE v7 users:
- I have no FF2 and IE7 on my PC, but I believe the instructions will be the same
