https inaccessible admin area
Has anyone else had the experience where everything works fine after enabling https but like this afternoon I found I couldn't get into my admin area.
I've followed the instructions and it all works fine now but I am wondering what caused this 3 weeks after enabling https. |

Please explain what you mean there. Does it shown an error message? Does it add some error messages to log files in the var/log/ directory? Or what does happen when you try to sign in as a store administrator? Also, try to clear browser cookies and check what HTTP requests the browser sends to the server when you sign in (for example, you can use the Network tab in the dev panel in Google Chrome browser). Do you see any 4xx or 5xx HTTP result codes there? |
inaccessible admin area
Hi,
I started working on the ecommerce X-cart. All right. I can not get into my control panel...........!!!!!!!! https://mrariccardovillanova.it/store X-cart control panel: https://mrariccardovillanova.it/store/admin.php?target=login Yesterday two things happened: - an additional module required me to apply HTPPS, AND I did it !!!!!!!!!! - I also changed the main account email The fact is that I do not know whether for the first or the second factor now I can no longer enter the platform from the user panel. I have also requested the link to reset the password but send me back always at the same error "wrong password or other". Alfredo |
Re: https inaccessible admin area
Well https and SSL seem to be working fine.
Seems strange it happened at the same time, could just be a coincidence. Try a different browser. Try deleting cookies. Check the account details directly in the database. |
Re: https inaccessible admin area
As far as I see the login form appears. The storefront seems to be working over HTTPS without problems too.
So, it may be that when you changed the e-mail address one of the letters was wrong, that's why now you cannot log in. If you have an access to the MySQL database (PHPMyAdmin in your webhosting control panel, for example), you can run this MySQL query to see what e-mail address is recorded for the administrator in the database: Quote:
Also, our support staff can check this for you: https://secure.x-cart.com/ |
