New product announce: Detailed Minicart mod
 

I would like to announce the Detailed Minicart mod, an excellent replacement for the classic mini-cart. The Detailed Minicart mod allows your customers to view products and corresponding categories directly from their mini-cart, which is always accessible on the side of the page, providing a constant reminder of what they are purchasing.
The module is specially suitable for shops dealing in online selling food(online grocery), cosmetics, wines, etc.

Main Features:

• Grouping products in mini-cart by corresponding categories.
• Simple change quantity for each product in cart.
• Simply delete product from mini-cart.
• Deleting items from the mini-cart, or change the quantity without re-loading the page.

You can place it wherever you want in the left or right column, very easy. Also, install the module is very simple, it takes only a few minutes.

We have installed this minicart onto our site, and are very happy indeed with the results.

Way better than the standard cart, and easily configurable. Customers like it which is the main thing, much more user friendly.

Been a while since we used 7Dana, service & support is as fantastic as ever:D

I have left a number of messages with 7dana without any response. Perhaps if I ask here someone may know the answer. Can the category headings be turned off or commented out? I have a lot of categories and my customers wouldn't want to see all the headings. It will make the mini-cart too long.

I do not see any e-mail with such a question, even in the spam folder.
Anyway, such a setting exists, screenshot is attached. You can also adjust the maximum height of box, before displaying the scroll bar.

Thank you for your reply. I filled your contact form out 4 times with no reply over the past 4 weeks. You might want to consider using autoresponders for your forms to assist customers with time frames as to when to expect a reply. I use mail list king which is a fabulous piece of marketing software.

Anyway I am glad to finally get a reply. I have also now posted the following questions to your form again: Here is a copy of the posting with my remaining questions about your minicart mod. Perhaps it will be of assistance to other forum members if you reply on the forum.

Here is what I need to know to make an informed decision:

1) With your mini-cart module, what happens when I have set the cart to a specific height but the customer has more products than that size. Does it scroll?
2) Can I easily attach a very small thumbnail of the product to each product in the minicart?
3) Can shipping and /or taxes be added to the mini-cart as a line entry?
4) Can the cart be set to float up and down the page as the customer scrolls up or down so it is always visible no matter how far down a page the customer scrolls.

I too have also filled in your contact form a couple of times recently to ask about buying a mod - never got a response so it may be your form.
