Worldpay no longer working with X-Payments
 
Heads up...it appears Worldpay US has implemented a new (improved?) payment card gateway that breaks the existing integration with X-Payments.

The X-Payments set-up screen for Worldpay US asks for authentication credentials not supported by the new Worldpay system.

I am working with Worldpay US now to see what options are available on their end.

In the meantime, I am hoping the X-Payments team is aware of the situation and perhaps updating this integration...

I fear we received nothing from them regarding any changes into their integration APIs. I'll reach out to our contact person in Worldpay US to get more details. I'll be happy if you can share your information with me, too (via a PM or by creating a HelpDesk ticket with subject "Attn for Alex Mulin - WorldPay US changes".

Bryan,

Finally, someone from US Worldpay got back to me and confirmed they did not update integration used in X-Payments.

Perhaps you confused UK Worldpay with Worldpay US? They are two regional companies of the same group of companies and have different integration APIs indeed.

Here is the source of confusion:

Worldpay US is now referring developer gateway inquiries to a company they acquired called securenet.com. Here is a quote from their biz dev office last month:

Apparently the gateway provided by securenet.com is not (yet) compatible with X-Payments.

So as of this moment, Worldpay US is not offering me at least any options for integration X-Payments.

If you know where I can find developer info on a compatible Worldpay US solution, please let me know. Otherwise we'll be going with Authorize.net even though their reseller program is not as good as Worldpay's.

Very strange as they said me the opposite.
I'll send them this information right away and ask for clarification.

Bryan,

If you can contact Worldpay US regarding this issue, too - this should speed up things at Worldpay I think. They are not really quick. The person who was our contact point at Worldpay US left the company and the new one may be wrong. And I had to wait some response from the new person at Worldpay US for a week or so.

I've just had a phone call with Terry from Worldpay.US. See her explanations sent to me by email:

So Bryan, if your existing Worldpay.US integration via X-Payments stopped working it can be a technical issue with the software or your server. I advise you to contact our techs for help with that.

If everything is fine with the software and servers - you should contact Worldpay.US HelpDesk. They confirm our certification still works and they are not closing that gateway.

OK....mystery solved.

Existing WorldPay US gateway is apparently still working...good news for existing customers.

New customers are only getting the option to use securenet now, so no luck for me.

Please let me know if you wind up certifying on the new securenet offering.

They told me new merchants will be able to use their existing gateways, too. Could you please PM contact details of the person from Worldpay you talked to? It looks like their new partnerships manager confuses something.

I've had a new call with Terry from Worldpay US and she confirmed again that our existing integration is still available to both new and existing Worldpay US & X-Cart merchants.

I asked her if we can integrate our products with SecureNet - she said no, because it is not available for new integrations yet.

This is what I've got from Worldpay US so far.
