X-payments and paypal pro CC option not available
 

So I've been trying to enable the use of credit cards as a payment method on my site using x-payments and paypal payments pro. However, after everything is set up the credit card option at the checkout page does not appear. (The paypal express button does though.) When testing the module the test comes back as successful.

I even did a clean install with just the demo products and stuff to make sure the issue was not the result of anything that I did.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

I see you work with one of our reps regarding the issue. Could you please share what was the reason and how you managed to resolve it after all?

The issue is still unresolved and the reason still unknown.. sadly.

Are we any further forward with this as we too now have this problem using x-payments with PP Pro or SagePay.

The iframe does not show on the OPC with lite template selected.

We are running 4.6

Please make sure:
1) your X-Payments admin back-end doesn't show you that recent changes of X-Payments front-end templates are accepted by the admin user.
2) you configured both X-Cart and X-Payments to use "lite"/"iframe" template - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GBNXOL9Nm5o (in X-Cart 4.6.1 option that enables "lite interface" from X-Cart side was renamed to "Use iFrame".
3) you made connection exactly as it is explained at the user manual - http://help.x-cart.com/index.php?title=X-Payments:X-Payments_Connector

Yes all of those are fine except (2) ours only says "lite" as its 4.6.0. It works fine as payments go through, but it just uses an additional page rather than loading on the OPC in an iframe.

I have opened a support ticket so I guess I'll just wait for the usual request for $99 to fix the problem.

Freakmode, this needs investigation at your X-Cart server. There can be something that prevents iFrame form from working. Anyways, if this is a bug in our code we will refund you all support fees paid for resolving the issue.

Also, you'd better go with X-Cart 4.6.1 as it has improved X-Payments connector module that supports all new features of X-Payments 2.0 (http://blog.x-cart.com/x-payments-2.0-released.html) and has some issues fixed comparing to X-Cart 4.6.0 version.

We got it working by turning it off an back on again. I don't think all of your modules are 4.6.1 compatible at the moment so we can't upgrade.

They will be just in a short period of time.
