UPS module keeps switching itself off
 

Hi!

I have our UPS module set up, it gets rates and works fine testing in checkout. But every day or so it switches itself to "inactive" and I have to activate it again. Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting?

Database problem. I have a client where UPS and FedEx will turn off on its own around early morning hours every day.

The only thing we got from XC support when they fixed the issue was

Shipping was setup from admin to begin with and redone few times in a hope redoing it will remove the problem but it doesn't. I suspect it is an XC issue to begin with but it doesn't happen often or it may be due to environment or some momentum glitch.

Anyway - you probably have incorrect database entries in this table or related ones which will cause the shipping to go off.

Thank you I think that may have been it. I had over 200 records in the xc_shipping_methods table and it looked like a mess. I deleted all the rows from that table (except my 3 offline methods), uninstalled UPS and then installed it again. I now have 38 records in that table and it looks very clean. I bet that fixed it but won't know for sure until tomorrow :)
