DESFU not working since php 5.3.6 upgrade
 

My ISP upgraded to php 5.3.6 and this seems to have caused a problem with DESFU.

There were other issues with the site (v4.1.7) and Qualiteam sorted those out, but they troubleshooted a further problem with DESFU that still persists. Site would display blank pages.

Has anyone had any problems with DESFU and php 5.3.6?

If so, what was your fix for this problem?

How old is your copy of DSEFU? They fixed that issue a long time ago, but try downloading the latest version and installing that to see if it sorts it. I have not had any problems with that module and PHP 5.3.x.

Just as balinor stated, any issues with PHP 5.3 were dealt with 2 years ago (July 2009) when PHP 5.3x was first released. And in actuality, the "blank page" syndrome is related to the host not properly accounting for ioncube support during/after the PHP/Apache upgrade and re-compile.

Let me take a wild guess: are you hosted with "Pair" by any chance? ;)

Let's put it this way, in the past week or so we've received a dozen inquiries regarding the exact same scenario; the common thread? They are all hosted at Pair :)
