Smarty problems ....
We have tried everthing was sugested here...The fact - doesn't work !!!
I renamed templates_c. After that: mkdir templates_c chmod 777 templates_c chown nobody:nobody templates_c and got this message... chown: changing ownership of `templates_c': Operation not permitted So, may be somebody can advice something useful? Thanks |
You most likely need root access to change the ownership, chmod 777 should do the trick, if not access your host to change the owner.

Of course I don't have root access to the host (Tell me a host provider that does :D) But chmod 777 didn;t do the trick !!! |
The directory just needs to be writable by apache, which most hosts run as nobody.nobody but some setup apache to run under different users, so I'd ask your hosting provider to change the owner on the directory.
got root? :D |
