Migration PHP 5.4 Problem
 

I have pushed this through as a Hot Rush ticket but no reply for the last half hour, so I'm throwing it out here in case anyone can help:

I have moved XC to a new server, and all of the software is working fine, but I am receiving errors on x_payments.

I have applied the 5.4 patch without any success, and I have tried re-installing xPay from scratch, but I am receiving the following error during installation:

Warning: PDO::__construct(): The server requested authentication method unknown to the client [mysql_old_password] in ../xpayments/lib/XPay/Core/Database.php on line 135

This is the current configuration:

X-Cart version 4.6.0
PHP 5.4.24 Details >>
GD bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
MySQL server 5.5.34-cll
MySQL client 5.5.34
Web server Apache/2.2.26 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.26 OpenSSL/1.0.1e-fips mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/5.4.24
Operation system Linux

Maybe re-compile MySQL to a lower release? Go back to PHP 5.3 Anyone ?

No credit in my Support account at XC so no out of hours support.

I have added SagePay Form protocol to get things working, bypassing xPayments altogether.

I'll report back for future reference if I discover a solution to this problem.
