JFYI: no solution for the problem at the moment. We are working to find out what's wrong.

Also, one thing I missed earlier: X-Payments shouldn't post to https://payflowpro.verisign.com/transaction

It submits data to https://payflowpro.paypal.com/transaction for Payflow PRO.

What version of X-Payments do you use?

X-Payments 1.0.4
=====================

My 4.1.9 store posts to https://payflowpro.verisign.com/transaction but I have not known for sure where X-Payments should be posting Payflow Pro transactions. I discussed this in post 3.

This is a misconfiguration of CURL library on your host. X-Cart may work without CURL as it supports a couple of other libraries for securing data besides CURL. X-Payments supports CURL only.

It is hard to say what's wrong with CURL on your server without knowing how everything is configured there. You'd better ask your hosting support to fix CURL or you can contact our techs for help.

I had HandsOn looking at this and they figured x-payments wasn't sending anything to bean stream.
Tech support at QT found my XP config was wrong.
In my case, I had to leave proxi= blank

A big thank you to both, HandsOn hosting and QT for resolving this.
I feel more comfortable to upgrade to 4.5.0

Re: X-Payments first sucessful charge made PayFlow Pro

There are many, many variables in payment systems. All it takes is one bad or missing piece and it does not work.

After substituting the new file provided (thanks, Alex) something was still wrong. After trying various changes, I was about to give up and turn it over to the pros like 'espresso' did.

So I logged into Paypal/Payflow to set up a new user for test purposes and I discovered a new user type called "API-FULL-TRANSACTIONS".

I went into PayPal's help system to read the purposes of this user type and it was not listed with the others. But it sounded right, so I picked it.

When I got back into X-Payments and was resetting the user info, I noticed that the box for 3-D Secure Payer Authentication was checked. I really don't know if that is part our our account's services, so I unchecked that.

The next test payment worked:D/ , but I'm not sure which of these changes made the difference. So for any of you having a PayFlow problem using X-Payments 1.04, use the update file from the link above, choose the user type "API-FULL-TRANSACTIONS" in Payflow, and try unchecking 3-D if you don't use it.
