SEO Module and some...
 

Hi there,

Do you know which mod is good about title tag?

I tried the SEO options in admin and choices are extremely limited and disappointing.

Is there any mod that will let me create my own title tags for
- homepage
- category page
- product page

I looked at BCSEngineering and still not sure which one would be good.

I also got CD-SEO that rewrite my urls. But it's not exactly like I thought it would be. I can't create my url at will. It's something like this
www.abc.com/products/product1.html
www.abc.com/category/product1.html

I prefer one without extra slash, such as

www.abc.com/product1.html

Is there any mod that will do that? Should I even bother?

Moving to Third Party Add-ons. The URL rewrite modules do not address the title tag, you need the META mods from BCS engineering to handle that.

Hi Mike, XCSEO Pro is what you're needing for the URL functionality. Additionally, I believe you have 2 weeks from point of purchase to get a refund on CDSEO, if you should choose to find a different solution.

BTW, for migrating from CDSEO, you would receive a 25% discount on XCSEO Pro, which would make it cost only $112.50 including install fee (XCSEO Pro without a discount costs $120 by default, $150 installed)


And Balinor is correct, you would need the meta mods from BCSE. There are several meta mods available from BCSE, I believe 1 for categories, 1 for products.
