Getting blank page and error on import page 5.2
 

I am getting the following error when i click on the import link in the left nav in admin.

Hi!

Please attach your log files that you can find in the [xc5]/var/log/ directory.

In the files there should be a full error message that could help to guess the cause of the issue.

@skit, what PHP version you are using? Is it something pre 5.3.7? If so, it looks like PHP bug and you need to upgrade.

Thank you Tony for the response. The thing is, we have two xcart 5.3 stores running on the exact same environment and one works fine and the other causes issues.

Are you sure both the stores run on exactly the same PHP version?

The problem seems to be caused by a PHP bug that was fixed in PHP v5.3.9:

Yes, they are on the exact same system. Same server.

Anyway, what PHP version is used on the server, where X-Cart is having problems with module installation?

The php version for the store with working Import and the one with a blank import page is PHP 5.3.3

Could you please ask your hosting admins to upgrade it to the latest version in 5.3 branch?
