I would advise NOT to use any free mod with encrypted code. If you are giving away your work free, there is no reason to hide what's in the code. This is a troubling news for xcart users who come to this this forum to get help. I hope x-cart will block this guy out permanently.

can you direct me to the encrypted code in the free version of XCSEO? I can't seem to find it.

As Jeremy mentioned, unencrypting the source code is a violation of copyright laws.

The output filter is a quick solution for those of us who (for now) must continue to use XCSEO Pro with the encrypted source code.

I was able to implement the fix in about a minute. I don't know if it's OK to post the info here, but PM me and I am willing to help.

Has anyone been getting memory errors due to a corrupt PHP file in this software?
