ant - Display different Info based on choice
 

I am looking to move to XC5 one of the features I like to have is the ability to display different information for each Variant selected. I would like to use Global Attributes to display the info to keep everything consistent.


Example:
Selling long sleeve shirts, size S, M, L. Each size will have a different sleeve length.
When a customer selects S the Global Attributes will display one set of data and when M or L is selected different sets of data will be displayed.


It would seem this would be a standard feature but I cannot seem to find it.

Well, there are several fields like SKU, weight, price, quantity available by default for different variants of products. But I believe you can use the Mnf#/ISBN module and change its' label to the "additional descritpion" for example and add specific information you want. Kinda cheating I think :D

Attributes are per product not per variant so what you are needing is not possible out if the box.
You can use memeto suggestion or custom code new module to add text area like description per variant to hold that info.
