Is there a way I can add a quick link like "Browse All

When a customer clicks on say "Coats," they get about 6 subcategory links to choose from (i.e. Denim coats, Tall coats, etc. that are all categorized). I'd like to add a link from a search string under all the sub-categories that lets the user, with the click of a button, simply browse "ALL" of the subcategories at once. I know I can add a search string with say the word "coat," but I don't want other items to appear, just all of the "category" links. Thanks.

I believe it would be something like this bluecat

/xcart/customer/search.php?in_category=5

man, thanks again DogByteMan. I'll look into that. :)

Unfortunately, I'm not figuring out a way to do this. Can anyone else point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Then I don't understand what your asking...

If ( note: category numbers below are for example only )

Coats is category 5

Denim Coats is category 7 and a subcategory of 5

Tall coats is category 8 and a subcategory of 5

Rain Coats is category 12 and a subcategory of 5

Then the search

/xcart/customer/search.php?in_category=5

Will produce the products from all of the subcategories listed

Are you asking for the search to find subcategory headings??? Because if so , I have no clue. I believe the search function is only for products.

I want people to have the option of a "Browse all Coats" for example. So when they click on the Coats category originally, they'll then see say 6 subcategories, but they'll also have "Browse All Coats" option as well, which lets them view all the coats within the subcategories. The reason is I figure some may just want to start browsing everything to see what they want. A perfect example is, in our Gloves section, there are like 3 lined gloves, 2 unlined, 1 cut protection, etc. Some may not know the difference between lined and unlined and may just want to look through all of them with a click of a button at first and browse.

I tried the search method you said, and it comes back with no results. Do you know where I would find which category each is in? Thanks again.
