AC onSale Module Sale Page Loads very slow
 

Hi,
I was hoping someone might be able to help me figure this out, either from an admin settings stand point or perhaps code.

When we use the AC On sale module; On Sale page for a few items (under 20) we never seem to have any problems(the onsale page loads about the same as all cat pages) but we decided to create a sale on one of our entire categories which meant we created with about 80 items in it.

The onsale page is loading at about 25 seconds on a wireless connection compared to about 4 seconds for all other category pages.

I tried clearing templates cache and force cache regeneration. That did not seem to help.

Any help would be appreciated. For the time being I just redirected the onsale link to the cat page where the sale item are.
