Here is an example of a product that was listed with the eBay integration module, utilizing an HTML template:

You can also include CSS and JavaScript in your template, depending on how fancy you intend to make your listings look.

How do you get the item specific data into eBay? In the example you provide it would shown at the top of the ebay listing.....

Gender: Women's
Brand: Pandora
Band Material: Leather

Are these custom fields in x-cart and if so how do they link to the ebay listing?

Does this mod keep the prices the same as the xcart store, or are you able to add a percentage to cover ebay costs.

As I currently sell on ebay and other market places and have to increase the price to cover the costs, but on my xcart store the prices are cheaper.

Hi Kosmos Central,

The cost per number of SKU, is that per thousand you put on eBay or what is in your inventory? I ask because although now is only 350 inventory & only 70 on eBay in the future I expect to have 40000 inventory but still only maybe 750-1000 on eBay.

Cheers

Sorry, we are only supporting versions 4.3 and above. We do, however, provide X-Cart upgrade services.

Variants are definitely supported! You can see an example of a multi variation listing through the module here:

And yes you are correct, stock levels are maintained between X-Cart products and eBay listings including variants.

I'm glad you brought that up! Looks like that was overlooked in the user manual. The eBay integration module utilizes X-Cart's Extra Field module for item specifics. Any extra field that has a service name beginning in "ebay_" will be uploaded as an item specific. We'll update the user manual soon with more on this feature.

The module gives you the ability to choose a membership level price to use as the listing price, as well as choosing between the standard and list price fields.

Thank you Acquamarina for the glowing recommendation, we're glad that you are so happy with the eBay integration!

Re: eBay integration for X-Cart by Kosmos Central

I just purchased this yesterday for xcart 4.4.2 (with mobile, but no other mods) and the installation failed on 3 files:

admin/configuration.php
include/product_modify.php
include/history_order.php

I followed the additional instructions to modify these php files, and that didn't work too well as my files were a bit different from the sample file in the installation instructions.

Now I can't add new products to my xcart store ... and I can't figure out how to successfully back out of the installation ... and the folks at Qualiteam are out of the office until Monday.

Has anyone else had this experience, and does anyone know either how to fix this or how to properly back out of this installation?

Thanks!

I didn't get an error when installing the upgrade but now I can't modify products. Just bought it last night.

Also I can't seem to find a way to link to my ebay account as the link mentioned in the manual doesn't come up.

Just figured out the problem, missed a folder during the install under modules.

Ok, new problem. When I click on Max X-Cart categories to eBay Categories, I get the following error.

Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

Quick update - I ended up backing out of the install by replacing all the php and tpl files that were modified with the originals.

All seems to be back to normal EXCEPT that I can't modify or add new products ... I just get a 500 error. :(
