Hiding the PayPal Checkout button
 

Hi guys, just curious if there's a way to turn off or hide the PayPal Checkout button in the cart/last items added dropbox and checkout page?

(Also just to note, my store does use PayPal but the buttons are causing problems for my wholesale customers and I'd rather it wasn't the first option they always saw.)

Thanks for your question!

Our integration with Paypal Express Checkout is done according to Paypal's specification and they require us to display these buttons on cart/checkout pages. There is no way to disable those buttons via setting.

However, you can use Template Editor
https://kb.x-cart.com/look_and_feel/theme_tweaker/template_editor.html

edit appropriate templates and hide those buttons.

Hi Tony, thanks for the details. I'll take a look at the template editor, it hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to remove.
