Sub-Catagories Icons

I want to replace the text with icons for the sub-catagories in a category. The titles show up at the top of the listing of products.
I thought that all I had to do is add the icon graphics and turn off show title. But I must be missing something because nothing seems to happen.

You are to just upload a category icon to make the icon appear on the page of the "parent" category.

Please can you let us have a screenshot that explains what you want to achieve and how it displays subcategories right now?
