Can I Modify the Image Verification Module?
 

I have always hated Image Verification (typing in the word/numbers) before being able to send a message or place a comment on a web site.

I know its pretty much the thing to do unless you want to be flooded with spam/bot mail on a daily basis...

However I thought it would be a nice step to actually create your own image verification pictures. Something where you can use keywords related to your site.
Like selling auto parts a Verification word like "compressor" or "engine block" would just seem to completely take the edge or hassle off of customers submitting questions or reviews...

If anyone has an idea on how to accomplish this, please let me know..thanks!

Using PHP and your database i'm sure you can write up your own Image Verification.

It would look something like this:

When the page loads, an image will appear with the word(s), from your Database. There will be a textbox, in which the user needs to type the same word.

Then a send button, in which the image and the textbox text matches then it will send. Otherwise an message will appear and a new image verification will appear.

That's how I would tackle it, but there may be better solutions out there.
