Is there an addon that once you start typing in the search box it displays stuff:

Example we sell cabosil and captains varnish

a customer starts typing ca into the search box and cabosil shows up kinda like google search does.

once the customer types cap it changes the box to say captains

I hope I am explaining this correctly.

Hope that helps! One thing to make sure of, is that your server and DB can handle something like this. It can be a resource hog.

Thanks Mike,

I was wondering about that (resource hogging). I had 44000 products and Predictive Search & CDSEO Pro and was crashing server (using 4.5.5). Just restarted with CDSEO 1st plus 32G memory all seems ok (using 4.6.1patched) except when selecting sitemap.php (will edit link from template) This time when re adding Thexstore's predictive search feature I will try to be more controlled when adding search terms to reduce workload on server.

This is the true power of Cloud Search:
Of course, clients that already pay for dedicated server hardware that can handle such a load, are probably better off going with an in-house solution to save on monthly costs.

$249.00 / year is just way too much when we just have a little over 400 products.

You have to spend money to make money :)

Although I agree the CloudSearch products ranges can be improved - jump from 100 to 5000 treats sites with 101 and 4999 products as equal and this doesn't seem right
