IRCE 2013, X-Cart Beer meeting in Chicago, USA
 

Hi Everyone,

I am happy to announce that X-Cart goes to IRCE 2013 event taking place on June 4th-7th 2013 in Chicago, USA.

Our booth # is 1467 (check the floor plan).

Maxim Vydrin, CEO of X-Cart, and me are going to be there and we will be happy to meet with you in person. Everyone is welcome to stop by our booth any time during IRCE.

If you are considering to attend IRCE 2013 - send me a PM and I'll give you special discount code for X-Cart merchants that will give you $200 discount based on type of conference attendance chosen. If exhibit hall only passes are chosen, the discount is slightly less.

You should consult with US embassy in your country. In Russia US visa application process is done via special web-site and the approval process is not really hard now. At least it is way easier than it was in 2006 when I got my 1st US visa approved.

I am seriously thinking of coming to this... are the sessions as good as they sound?
Has anyone done the full track at IRCE?

BTW, a friend of mine (an SEM rockstar) is presenting a session on June 4 @ 2:30
He tells me the after-hours networking is as strong as the show floor.

I've done countless trade shows, but this one seems to favor the sessions more than others. Is it worth the journey from NYC for a store owner?

Sounds like X-Cart beer meeting is going to be the 1st X-Cart networking event where merchants can meet X-Cart developers from core X-Cart team and from X-Cart community!

We'd prefer the beer meeting before the conference is over as we have kids to get back to. I don't think we'd want to stay an extra day. If that makes a difference.

For those who could not make it last year, it was a great event and nice to see the X-cart staff. Lots of questions and the food and beer was great.

For those that can't drink beer (I can't have gluten, wheat, barley, rye, etc), would you support having a different kind of drink? :)

That is pretty good too. Have you ever had coconut amaretto? It is pretty good. Hard to find but good.

Amaretto is fine. Usually the brand is Disaronno. :)

Looks like some of my plans are getting swapped around. I'm supposed to be in Las Vegas at a speaking engagement on Tuesday (4th) and was going to be staying out there as I have another event on Monday (10th), so I'm going to see what I can do about flights and get me to Chicago for at least Friday, if not Thursday & Friday.

I'll keep you in the loop.

We have been informed that our partner discount code for IRCE passes and details how to use it will be provided to us on April 25th. I am traveling April 24-27th so you should expect my update on this matter on April 28th.
