Google Trusted Stores mod by CFL Systems is an X-Cart add-on that allows you to show Google Trusted Stores badge on your site as well as upload required shipment and cancellation feeds.

Will it work when installed on 4.1.x version?

Looks like the installation instructions fit, at least for 4.1.12.

It can be installed on 4.1.x as well. It may require a little tweaking of templates to make it work but it is possible. The one encrypted file is not version dependent so it should work

Thank you for the update.

I was able to install the mod using a stock 4.1.12 installation, just following the installation instructions provided with the module, no problems.

Will you update the supported versions info on your web-site? Then we will update the corresponding info on our web-sites.

Does this mod allow you to set certain products as "Backordered" so that they are eliminated from the Trusted Stores on-time-shipping calculation? This is a critical feature for us, as we do some repairs that require customers to send items to us before we can repair/ship out.

I imagine this can be done in a couple of different ways: (1) there could be a custom/new field that sets specific SKUs as backordered, and the Java flags the order to backorder status if the SKU is in the record, or (2) the flag is set based on the SKU itself (eg. if SKU contains XXX, then set flag to backorder).

If the mod doesn't allow this, is it something that could be implemented reasonably easily? Without the backorder capability, we can't sign up for the Trusted Store program.

The module does not manipulate products info in any way. It does pass to Google on the order confirmation page a set to 'N' variable if order is on backorder but the value can be modified if the store needs it, it is store specific. As per Google Trusted Stores docs if even one item in an order is on backorder the whole order is treated as backorder

I guess my question is whether the mod would permit you to flag certain orders as having the backorder flag if they contain certain products.

I'm not looking for the mod to modify product info, but is it possible to create a new field in xcart and have the mod look to that field instead of the backorder status? Basically, I would want orders flagged as "backorder" if they contain specific product IDs.

You can do this change in the template file of the mod yes, or I not sure how I can modify it for you

This module is complete overkill for my purposes.. I really only need certain sections.

All of our orders are imported into our OMS systems in house and GTS would get the tracking infor, etc. from that system.

The Google Trusted Stores program is now expanding to cover Australia and some EU countries - UK, France and Germany.

2 new versions of the module are now available to cover these countries.

Google recently changed the Google Trusted Stores program and now the program is unified across all countries it runs to. I have also taken the time to re-write the GTS module so it is now one module and complies with the latest Google changes.

The good news for US merchants is Google no longer requires submission of shipping and cancellation feeds making the program easier to work with.
