Never mind, I just checked your site and the cost is 299 BP+ $149 for xcart. That just leaves out altered cart

Hi Hameed,

You can purchase our Modern Living bundle (ML + XB + PS + FREE install) for ─299, this already includes a saving of ─135.

That would knock number 2, 3 & 4 off your list.

Add to this the cost of the One Page checkout module.
Obviously you might need someone to integrate this checkout module for you, so that would be extra. We could quote for this separately once you purchased the module and we can see what's involved in integrating it with your ML bundle.

Final question , if I wanted to duplicate across two more sites for the same client with a slight change in color just to differentiate the three lines of business for this one client (sales of parts for Lexus, Toyota and Scion) slightly , would the cost simply be the number above X 3, or would you give a discount for the other two additional sites?

If you plan to purchase multiple licenses with us, more than 6 per year (1 license = 1 domain name),
then you are more then welcome to signup to our "Develop" platform.

This will entitle you to a further 15% discount off all future orders.
Add to this the 10% discount you will receive in "Loyalty Points"
with every order, then you are looking at a combined discount of approx 25%.

That should take the sting out of purchasing multiple licenses.
We will activate your "Developer" account after you place your first order.

Lastly, does your template include season themes? For example, a winter, spring, haloween, fourth of July etc?

In my mind, this is simply a minor change in the header to indicate a different season - which can also be accomplished even more simply by including an appropriate image in a banner for instance.

Finally, what kind of warranty do you offer?

Hi Hameed,

No, we have not included any season themes - as you said, this can be easily achieved by updating the header graphic or including seasonal graphics into the xBanner module.
This would be something you would need to discuss with your designer. All master graphics are included with the template so this should help if you plan to change things around.

The template is provided "as is" - so do test our demo website thoroughly before you purchase. All customers will be entitled to free upgrades for their registered version of x-cart.
You will see that our XB & PS modules comes with a 15 day free trial, if you want to download and install them separately. The template itself does not come with a trial license,
but you can test our online demo and checkout our video to see whats its all about.

Hi Regs,

Right now, we don't plan to go back as far as xcart 4.2

We have just released 4.4.x, however we also have a 4.3.x version of the template almost ready. We may consider 4.2.x in the future if the demand was hight enough.

1. Does ML template available for x-cart pro version of the product?

2. How easy to change button size and place? The built in template with x-cart makes it very difficult to use tools like google website optimizer. So if I need to experiment various layouts, is it all css or multiple php files need changing?

3. Have you gone through any security review of templates?

Hi Ajay,

To answer your questions...

1. Yes, ML is available for x-cart Pro
2. You can change all aspects of the ML template, "if" you have some experience working with css & smarty templates. Depending on your knowledge of webdesign you might need the help of a web designer to achieve more complex modifications - or we can always provide you with a separate quotation to complete such work.
3. Yes our ML template is as secure as it possibly can be. We use some custom PHP code to load data for ML homepage features and it's secure.

Thanks Will for you answers. I am seriously considering the theme. However I noticed a few things and I am sure any serious buyer will notice/consider those as well in their buying decision.

1. Several lines of inline javascript. Are there any plans to move those to external files so that those can be loaded from cdns significantly enhancing frontend performance?

2. Can those multiple javascripts combined in one files and move the loading at the bottom of page?

3. Although the feature page mentions it SEO friendly, it is diffcult to judge because of javascript and ajax calls all over the place. Any plans to change those?

I strongly urge you to try the template through yahoo yslow plugin for FF which shows multiple ways to enhance front end loading. Traditionally almost xcart templates (both quality team and other third party) have ignored the front end performance. If you can provide a better yslow score then it is significant selling factor.

in generic 4.4 xcart template, it is supposed to consolidate all JS files in one to enhance the performance. I don't know how that feature affects Modern Living, another issue to look at.

Hi Ajay,

Yes, in the next release of ML, we plan to update xBanners & Predicitve Search
to malgimate all external js files into a single file that will be integrated with the 4.4.2 caching engine.
This update will also see all included js scripts externalised.

These new changes will certainly improve the loading speed of the template - although right now we dont think this is a problem,
but every improvemtnt will certinaly make things quicker - and we are all for that :)

Yes, we have been using Yslow in the past, plus other speed and validation tools
- we will continue to use these to make ML as perfect as it can be.

hi, will, in default xcart bottom.tpl, i can easily add the image by inserting the image link,however there is many gap when i tried to insert link in your template, below is my bottom.tpl, pls help, thanks

i also like to know the name in css to change the background color as there are very plain, the font is white, customer can't see the fonts, see the attached picture 11.jpg.

Really Really bad company (if a company at all) Bought the modern living template a year ago, now we want to build new webshop from scratch using the newest xcart. Therefore we need to develop it at a localhost, so i ask at support ticket at the xcartstore website if can do so without taking down our LIVE shop.

We do business world wide, we,re not an hobbiyst playing around!!

I DIDNT GET ANY ANSWER SOFAR, WAITING FOR OVER TWO WEEKS NOW.

WTF IS GOING ON AT THE XCARTSTORE. MONEY IS IN, SUPPORT, ONE CAN FORGET ??????

I am really surprised to hear you are bashing us here on the x-cart forum.
We have replied to all the emails you sent into our support helpdesk - you had created 4 active tickets with us over the last 10 days - all of which have been responded to.

I can assure you... we are a "real" company - with top class developers and support personal working behind the scenes. If you are not happy with our products then simply let us know - you mentioned you purchased one of our templates 1 year ago... why only now are you making your issue known?
We have created our products so they can run on a development server or live server concurrently, you know about this. Also, all our products are fully compatible with the latest version of x-cart. I'm not really sure what your issue is?

Well the you have a real big problem, i was only answered to the last support email i have sent, so i keep saying that you guys only respond to angry emails from customers. Appearently these days customers have to make themselves angry before they will be taken serious. I never let my customers wait longer then 24 hours, in fact it never has taken that long so far. U have a live chat option at ur website, LOL, i have never seen it online, always OFFLINE, thats bad marketing, better take it off ur website if ur not online. What is the purpose of letting customers now that you have LIVE chat, but ur never there, that just works against you.
We exist already 10 years with our online shop using Xcart.

To answer your Q's:
Yes we bought a year ago, but the actual implementing was just 2 months ago.
Before we use skins at our live shops we will test them for a long period, thats why we need to change license url more than we can, so thats another problem with your license policy. The law is like this, when a customer buys something, it is his property, which means that we can use it how we want exept for copyrights. We dont want to copy anything or whatever, we just want to be free in using it. The 3 times license url switching is mentioned after one buys your skin, not before the actual order, no info about that was given at order stage. So if we need to change the url, we have to contact you, even that was no problem IF, u would have service 24/7 and that is not the case. So we bought a restricted product, or just give us the possibility to change license url as often as we want.

We just didnt get answers to our support questions, not at ur website, not through twitter, and that is a real bad thing. Imagine we would have done that to our customers, we wouldnt have had customers no more, and wouldnt need your skin... and certainly we wouldnt have exist for 10 years online now.

We have absolutely no problems here I can assure you that.
We don't check twitter for "support" questions sorry.
We answer all support questions in rotation (not because they are angry) . Also, keep in mind... all our support is FREE, you don't have to purchase support points or pay anything extra.
Our "Live Chat" facility is fully operational - we have it running about 4 hours each day - as many customers were using it as a support "hotline" - this is not what is was setup for.
Can you contact Qualiteam support directly via a live chat facility? No you can't - for this exact same reason.

Yes, we do ask customers to email us so we can reset their license count after they change the domain on their license more than 3 times in quick sucsession. It takes 1 minute to set it.

Keep in mind, we work 5 days a week 9-5. When you take timezone differences into account there may be some delays in responding. But we can not respond when we are not in the office.

Herman, lets leave it at this... if you are not happy with our products or services - I can arrange a full refund for you... even though you purchased the template over 1 year ago (this won't matter). We have no problem returning your money, just let me know.
