Best Dynamic image resizing mod
 

Hey guys,

You probably are sick of hearing about this one, but I'm going to ask it anyway.

I was pretty much sold on the Tellefirma mod, then there was some bad "press" on here about his communication, and that is it only available for 4.1.

I've read through all the threads about alternatives, and pretty much ended up even more confused.

Can someone please give me a recommendation on what "the experts" are using at the moment for x-cart 4.3?

Don't think there has been one written for 4.3 yet, but the one from xcartmod.com is pretty good.

Anyone had problems with this mod (xcartmod.com's Dynamic Images Mod) slowing down their site to the point of being unusable? We installed this and it slowed down our site so much under no load that it we can't use it at this point. I submitted a ticket four days ago and emailed xcartmod again today and have yet to hear back.

Anyone know if they answer their support tickets? Anyone know if there is something similar to this mod out there that works without being so slow?

Thanks, but I'm looking for a mod that will replace the main image with a larger version of the thumbnailed detailed imaged when the detailed image is moused over. I find the lightbox to be slow and clunky on ecommerce sites. The xcartmod mod works great, but is just way to slow to use right now.

I too really liked the way the tellafirma mod looks and works. I would love to see someone pick up the ball with that one and create something similar. I just can't bring myself to order from tellafirma though.

Could you post a link to the mod and perhaps an example?
My google-fu is failing this time, and I can't find anyone by telefirma, tellafirma etc

His site is up and running as of now. But no one with an X-Cart store should order anything from telafirma.
