Ever since installing cdseo pro my pages do not always load. About 50% of the time it loads a white page and I need to hit refresh to view the page. This seems to only be happening in Firefox, IE seems to be working fine. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this ?

I'm sure it's causing me to lose sales as who wants to sit there and hit refresh every time they try to go to another page.

Shouldn't have anything to do with CDSEO - you sure you haven't changed something else that causes the issue?

I don't think so it only started happening once I installed cdseo. I had to edit my .htaccess file would that have something to do with it? If I try and view source it loads another blank white screen.

Try turning it off and see if the problem is still present - you can disable it in the main settings tab of the mod.

Yeah seems to have stopped when I disable cdseo.

Drop a ticket to WebSiteCM - if you installed it yourself you may have missed something, or your server may require a tweak to the code.

White screens are usually memory limit errors. An intermittent white page probably means your site runs out of memory when it gets busy. Check with your host and ask them to increase your memory limit.

Ok but I'm running two stores from the same url www.example.com/us and www.example.com/canada both running cdseo only one of the stores is having this issue. The other runs smooth. So I don't think it's the memory.

In my experience this is memory issue 99% of the time. In may work like so: Lets say your memory limit is 16M. You have one site with more products than the other, so one site's page load takes 2M and the other takes 4M. If your server load is at 13M the load of one page is going to put you at 15M, the other will put you over your limit and draw a white page.

Are you talking about your monthly usage? Because my stats for last month says I only used up 8.2% of my allowed bandwidth. Also would this not reset every month? I just turned cdseo back on to the same errors right away.


Sorry I'm fairly new to this can you tell me what I need to look for from my host exactly? Only other limits I see says everything is unlimited.

No its nothing to do with monthly stats or bandwidth, its a server limitation. Ask them to increase php's memory_limit variable.
